Go West, Young Woman!

I found out this past week that I have been offered the position of Radiation Detection Nuclear Physicist at Pacific Northwest National Lab in Richland, Washington! This morning I officially signed the acceptance letter and gave notice to my current employer. Now all the craziness of moving and bringing my current job to a close can ensue... It's going to be a wild, crazy, exciting ride. My last day at 2K Corporation will be July 23rd, my last day in my apartment will be July 25th, my first day at PNNL is yet to be decided but probably around August 1st! There is so much to do before then but I'm excited about the opportunities that God is providing. I will dearly miss my friends and family here in Lafayette and even the majority of my co-workers (not my boss though). You have been an incredible blessing to me these past four years and I love you all! Anyone else want to move to Washington with me? ;-)

Goodness! We had no idea, but of course that's awesome! You will do well. Please keep an eye out for Bigfoot for me.

LOL Andy is crazy!

Nope, I think I´ll pass on moving to Washington, but you know you could move to Bolivia with me...it´s been 70 degrees here all summer!

Or I could settle for visiting you...how close will you live to a major airport?
